
On Wednesday, we had the pleasure of hosting WVU for a presentation to our seniors. They were able to learn more about the campus and ask questions about applying to WVU. #VikingProud


Day 3 and 4 of our Homecoming Week was a success! Don't forget tomorrow is class color day! Seniors wear black, Juniors wear red, Sophomores wear white, and Freshman wear gray!



**STAFF SPOTLIGHT** Each Wednesday we are going to shine the spotlight on one of our staff members. This week is Mrs. Elizabeth Evans. Mrs. Evans has been teaching for 5 Years here in Grant County. Mrs. Evans is highly involved with the Health Careers Club along with Mrs. Melinda Turner. Mrs. Evans favorite memory of working at PHS is the field trips that she was able to host. Students were given the opportunity to go to the Cadaver Teaching Lab through WVU School of Medicine. Together Mrs. Evans and Mrs. Turner were able to host a Health Careers Fair as well. PHS is lucky to have you Mrs. Evans!


Day two of our spirit week for Homecoming was a successful one! Rodeo vs Rodeo Drive! #PHSHoco23


The drawing for the Beef Raffle will be postponed until Nov. 3rd when we play East Hardy. There are some processing delays, so keep those tickets until Nov. 3rd.

**STAFF SPOTLIGHT** Each Friday we are going to shine the spotlight on one of our staff members. This Friday is Mr. Shannon Earle. Mr. Earle has been teaching for 21 years. Mr. Earle's most interesting project that he has worked on is teaching life skills to all his students and organizing scavenger hunts around the school. All of the students at PHS enjoy the fun activities that he prepares. Mr. Earle says his favorite thing about PHS is that he is able to see the success of his students. PHS is lucky to have you Mr. Earle!


Our Golf team is headed to Wheeling on Sunday for the State Gold Tournament. . Monday- practice round and rules Tuesday and Wednesday- State tournament rounds. Good luck! #VikingProud

Tickets to tonight's Football game vs Moorefield can be purchased using the following link or the QR code. QR codes will be posted at the field tonight so fans can purchase tickets when they arrive.
This only applies to non-Grant County residents.


*STAFF SPOTLIGHT** Each Wednesday we are going to shine the spotlight on one of our staff members. This week is Mrs. Rebecca Brosh. Mrs. Brosh has been teaching in Grant County for 30 years with 11 years being at PHS. She has a total of 35 years in education. Mrs. Brosh says the most interesting project that she has been apart of is that she coached girls' soccer for many years. She was also the junior class sponsor for many years. Mrs. Brosh says, "I enjoy watching kids transform from shy seventh graders into amazing young adults. Our entire staff is a great group of people to work with." PHS is lucky to have you Mrs. Brosh!


Senior Night for Boys and Girls Soccer will be tomorrow evening. We will recognize all the seniors between games.

Come out and support both teams as they take on Berkeley Springs.

Wednesday October 4th at 5:45 pm, Student Council will be hosting their Homecoming Parade. The parade will start at Petersburg High School and finish at the football field. Attached is the parade route that will be used. We hope to see everyone along the way!


The Lady Vikings fought hard against Moorefield tonight but came up short. All three games were competitive. Come out Thursday night as the take on East Hardy in another PVC matchup.
