Good Evening,  This is Superintendent of schools Mitch Webster and I would like to start by saying thank you to all of our students and parents for your compliance and understanding of the necessity of the mask requirements.  It has helped us keep our kids safe and avoid a multitude of quarantines.  Unfortunately, the surge of Covid cases is still high and it is becoming more difficult to keep our schools open.  My ultimate goal continues to be doing everything possible on my part to provide in person learning to all of our students.   In order to achieve this under the current circumstances, we will be implementing a universal mask mandate which means it now extends to our Pre-K through 2nd graders.  This will begin tomorrow, September 16th.  As I stated in my previous message, we will re-examine this on October 1st to see where the numbers are.  At that time we will revisit the situation on a weekly basis and lift the mask requirements when it is deemed safe.  Thanks again for your patience and understanding.  Have a nice evening.
