West Virginia Theater East is currently performing the musical "Annie," at the Landes Arts Center in Petersburg, West Virginia. Superintendent Mitch Webster recently had the opportunity to observe a show in which many of our Grant County Students and staff members are performing. Mr. Webster commented he was highly impressed and entertained by the performance of all of our students. He wanted to thank West Virginia Theater East for the opportunities they provide for our students and for the community to participate in, and also watch, live theater. Mr. Webster went on to say it was a fantastic show and he encourages everyone in the community to come out and support our local theater group and guarantees they will enjoy the performance. There will be performances this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. (March 14-16)
After the show Mr. Webster was able to get a picture with Annie herself, who is played by Caroline Anderson, a 4th grade student at Petersburg Elementary School.
